| Descripion | ColdBox/Railo/Linux Order Processing (Shopping Cart) Print onDemand (Hi-Res PDF Generation) Inventory Management System We need to create an inventory management system capable of creating, processing, and tracking items and purchases. This system must give user suggestions about each item bought (i.e. Amazon.com). It needs to be able to generate custom reports on item pricing, stock status, detailed sales history, backorder information, recommend reorder points, valuation, turnover, sales analysis and much more that will be talked about later. The system needs to have the tool for formulating cost-effective policies, sales policies, pricing methods and enhanced customer service. It needs to track things such as • Purchase Order Entry • Requisition Processing • Purchase Order Receipts • Purchase Query • Purchase Order History • Purchase Order List • Purchase Order Receipts • Vendor List • Purchase Order pending • Purchase Order Receiving Worksheet • PO vs. Standard Cost Report • Vendor Maintenance • Item/vendor Data Maintenance The system must handle security restriction and present different views depending on the user levels. The system must be created for non-technical people. The IMS we are trying to build needs to handle Hi-Res on-demand printing that will be able to generate PDFs on the fly for printing purposes. It also has to be customizable for different clients and different type of items. |
