| Descripion | The ideal candidate will have solid experience in the interactive space working in multi-disciplinary teams to solve technical challenges. Candidates must be comfortable working in a very dynamic, creative, fast paced, and rapidly changing environment. RESPONSIBILITIES - Develop PHP applications following coding standards and best practices - Work within the context of established web development processes - Use of strict source control to manage code base - Document code - Keep lines of communication open for all project members - This position requires working in a cross-functional environment. - Identify, assess and manage technology risks, severity and impacts, determine and implement risk mitigation strategies. REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE - 3+ years developing PHP applications, websites and platforms - Solid experience with CakePHP - Strong technical background (i.e. programming, data architecture and analysis - with a specific focus in the LAMP stack) - Experience with open source CMS packages (Drupal, Joomla, Expression Engine) an asset - Experience with other frameworks such as CodeIgniter etc. an asset - Experience with community-driven web applications and user-generated content - Strong working knowledge of developing technical architectures, systems development methodology and quality assurance techniques. - Previous experience in working teams of technical resources including business analysts, front end & back end developers etc. - Strong analytical skills, with very high attention to detail - Experience with system administration an asset ATTRIBUTES · Team oriented · Independent · Creative · Innovative · Accountable COMPENSATION Commensurate with experience |
