| Descripion | About Our Client Our client, a large size and rapidly expanding direct response company, is looking for a strong PHP developer. Responsibilities The role reports to the VP, E-Commerce and will be responsible for performing a diverse range of functions including but not limited to: •Participate in the design and development of technology solutions; •Code and make modifications to programs (of medium to high complexity); •Under minimal supervision, conduct test verification and document test cases; •Complete system and architecture documentation; •Conduct performance tuning; •Conduct code walk-throughs; •Provide production support including pager and onsite / after hours support. Our client is looking for a likeable, energetic, self starter with exceptional IT skills. Additionally, you must have a strong work ethic, and superior communication skills. Qualifications The following are the minimum requirements to be considered for this role: •In depth knowledge of CakePHP Framework and web based technologies including XML, SOAP and webservices; •Browser technologies including I/Explorer, Firefox and Safari; •Operating systems and related skills : Unix and related scripting languages •Database knowledge : MySQL •Design and development tools : UML, IntelliJ IDEA, and JUnit. Source control tools, CVS, SVN. •Must be able to work under tight deadlines, meeting multiple priorities with limited supervision; •Demonstrated attention to accuracy and detail.
